Human a-Secretase Lyophilized. Lyophilized from sterile-filtered 25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0. Recombinant, human TACE (amino acids 1-671) fused to a His•Tag® sequence and expressed in T. ni. insect cells. The major form of the purified protein corresponds to the mature form with an apparent molecular mass of ~70 kDa. Biological activity: ≥100 pmol/min/µg as measured by the cleavage of 10 µM of fluorescent substrate (MCA-Pro-Leu-Ala-Gln-Ala-Val-Dpa-Arg-Ser-Ser-Ser-Arg-NH2; Cat. No. 616402) in 100 µl of reaction buffer at 37°C.. Purity: ≥90% by SDS-PAGE. |
