Detection of human IR, phosphorylated at Tyr1158/1162/1163, by immunoblotting. Samples: Whole cell lysate from CHO-T cells transfected with human insulin receptor and left unstimulated (lane 1) or stimulated with insulin (lanes 2-8). Primary antibody: PhosphoDetect™ Anti-IR/IGF1R (pTyr1158/1162/1163) Rabbit pAb (Cat. No. PS1009) (1:1000) pre-incubated without peptide (lane 1-2), with non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the immunogen (lane 3), a generic phosphotyrosine-containing peptide (lane 4), phosphopeptides corresponding to other IR/IGF1R sites (lanes 5-7), or phosphopeptide immunogen (lane 8). Detection: chemiluminescence.
