Comments: A highly sensitive and specific kit for detection of MMP-13 from human samples, including serum, synovial fluid, and cell culture supernatant. Recognizes both the latent and active forms of MMP-13, however exhibits 10-fold higher sensitivity towards the active than the latent form of MMP-13. Does not recognize MMP-1, MMP-2, MMP-3, MMP-8, or MMP-9.
