Peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs) were isolated from whole blood using Ficoll centrifugation. Cells were cultured at 2 x 10⁶ cells/ml and treated with phytohemagglutinin (PHA) at various concentrations for 24, 48, and 72 hours. Cell lysates were tested in the ELISA for Fas protein.
